Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy that works on increasing or improving skills for everyday life as well as the building blocks for learning. It also looks to reduce behaviors that are impeding the individual from making progress. This type of therapy looks at how the individual’s environment effects their behaviors and help make changes to the environment to increase the likelihood of growth and independence.
How We Can Help With Autism, ADHD, and More
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has been proven to be an effective treatment for individuals with autism, ADHD, and many other conditions. Our unique program utilizes ABA techniques paired with neurological techniques to offer the most comprehensive treatment available. Our goal is to give the individual and the family the tools to be autonomous and successful.
Behavioral Analysis Services Offered At The Neuro Clinic
Your child will undergo behavioral assessment as well as neurological assessment to determine if they have retained primitive reflexes and where they have weaknesses in their brain that can be strengthened to help them grow.
As a parent, you know your child the best. Your daily interaction gives you valuable knowledge and insights into what works best with your child. Parent training will give you tools and confidence to help your child thrive in their natural environment. The goal is to give you tools to help them through current struggles and to be equipped to help them with future struggles. At home exercise and data collection will be a part of this training.
1 To 1 Skills Acquisition
While in the office your child will work with an ABA staff member to gain new skills that will help them in their everyday life as well as build the skills that are the building blocks to future learning. During this time techniques will be modeled for the caregiver to be able to practice at home.
